Yannick HAMON, Le texte de théâtre pour le français langue étrangère : pistes didactiques en réception et production de l’écrit
Abstract
This article follows on from a training course co-organised by the Do.R.I.F. (Centre for Documentation and Research on the Didactics of the French Language in Italian Universities) and the Federation of Alliances Françaises of Italy, which took place in Rimini on September 28, 2018 at the Technological Institute for Tourism of Rimini. This training course, which aims to use theatre in the context of FFL (French as a Foreign Language) courses, was divided into three parts: pedagogical practices related to gestures, practices related to the phonetic dimension, and written skills. The intervention we proposed emphasised the textual dimension. The main aim was to highlight the pedagogical possibilities offered by the theatre text. From a theoretical point of view, our intention is to provide teachers with a methodological basis from which to design their didactic approaches to better understand with their students the plays and/or scenes of the classical or contemporary repertoire, whether in reception or in written production.
In this paper, we initially look at the structure and characteristics of the dramatic text, then we investigate the use of theatrical practices in language courses and in French as a Foreign Language courses, and finally, a third part is devoted to pedagogical approaches for written reception and production, specifically for secondary school classes.
